Mid Century Modern Bar/Storage Cabinet:
Designed as a wedding present for a couple who live in a small DC apartment. Top half is a bar cabinet with pocket doors, hidden drinks shelf, glass shelving and interior motion sensor lighting. Bottom half is a 3 drawer storage cabinet with their wedding date carved into the top drawer front. Cabinet exterior veneered with Bocote with the grain designed to flow from top to bottom cabinet. Bar cabinet interior is Curly Maple and the hidden shelf is book matched Ash Burl. The external framing is black dyed Ash and the pulls are a brass chevron design. Cabinet is 68" x 36" x 18" Cherry media cabinet with stainless steel wire mesh door panels, remotes work better with these but can work with any type panel. Top is made from cherry edging Madrone burl with Ebony stringing.
